Resumen de Geografía del cambio "global": algunos efectos en la organización del espacio geográfico

El espacio geográfico no permanece inmutable frente a los cambios y las transformaciones engendradas en las sociedades humanas. La evolución de las relaciones económicas, politicas, culturales, tecnológicas e ideológicas de los grupos sociales se manifiestan objetivamente sobre el espacio; tienen rulas formas materiales concretas, aunque también éstas se convierten en nuevos condicionantes y elementos moldeadores de la subjetividad y las representaciones que yacen en las relaciones socioespaciales. Algunas de esas nuevas formas son atribuibles a la globalización: el fin de la vida en el campo, la megalopolización, las redes, el fIn de las periferias, la contracción del espacio tiempo y el efecto túnel. Sin embargo, las nuevas formas espaciales no reemplazan a las anteriores, tampoco se manifiestan en todos los lugares. Siguen un patrón excluyente de unos grupos respecto a otros, de unos espacios respecto a otros; y parecen estar ampliando la brecha entre dos sociedades que parecen distanciarse cada vez más entre sí.

The geographical space doesn't remain unalterable in the face of the human societtes. The evolution of the economic, political, cultural, technological and ideological relations of the humans groups is expressed objcctively on the space. They have material forros, even though they beeome new eonditions that shape the subjeetivity and the representations laying the socio-spacial rclacions. Sorne in those new ways are attributable to the globalization: the end oE the life in the countryside, the megalopolización, the nets, the end of the peripheries, the contracrion of the space-time and the tunnel effcet. Thc new spaee forms, howevcr, don't replace to the previous ones, neither they are manifested in aH places. They follow an excluding pattem of sorne groups with regard to others, and the)' seem to be enlarging thegap between two soeieties which appear to be more and more distant to each other.
