Resumen de Nuevas aportaciones al conocimiento de los heterópteros acuáticos (Heteroptera: Gerromorpha y Nepomorpha) en humedales de Galicia (N.O. España)

Se presentan nuevos datos sobre los hemípteros acuáticos capturados en diferentes humedales de Galicia (N.O. España) durante 4 años. En este estudio, se identificaron 20.574 ejemplares de 35 especies pertenecientes a 10 familias de los infraordenes Gerromorpha (Gerridae, Hebridae, Hydrometridae, Mesoveliidae, Veliidae) y Nepomorpha (Notonectidae, Pleidae, Naucoridae, Nepidae, Corixidae). Se aportan 12 nuevas citas al inventario de esta región, además de numerosas citas provinciales, aumentando considerablemente el conocimiento sobre este grupo en la comunidad gallega.

New data are presented on aquatic bugs captured in different Galician wetlands (NW Spain) over 4 years. In this study, 20,574 individuals of 35 species belonging to 10 families of the infraorders Gerromorpha (Gerridae, Hebridae, Hydrometridae, Mesoveliidae, Veliidae) and Nepomorpha (Notonectidae, Pleidae, Naucoridae, Nepidae, Corixidae) were identified. Twelve new records are added to the inventory of this region, besides numerous provincial records, considerably increasing the knowledge of this group in the Galician Autonomous Community.
