Analisam-se os manuscritos astrológicos judaicos da Idade Média, rica fonte para o melhor entendimento da cultura medieval e da história da ciência. Em um primeiro momento, será feita a contextualização da astrologia na Europa cristã, para, em seguida, entender a relação dos judeus da Idade Média com a interpretação das supostas mensagens dos astros. O resultado do interesse pela astrologia será a elaboração de textos variados sobre o tema, muitos deles desconhecidos até o presente. Antes da conclusão, serão examinados três guias astrológicos: o Ms. Laud Or. 282 e Ms. Laud Or. 31 0, ambos da Bodleian Library, e El libro conplido en los iudizios de las estrellas, de Abenragel. Os conhecimentos aqui sistematizados contribuem para o melhor entendimento dos Estudos Judaicos e Medievais, abrindo novas perspectivas de pesquisa para a Crítica Textual, a Filologia Românica e a História, entre outras áreas do saber.

Jewish astrological manuscripts of the Middle Ages are a rich source for a better understanding ofmedieval culture and history of science. Firstly, I will relate astrology with Christian Europe; next, I will present the relationship of the Jews of the Middle Ages with the interpretation of the alleged messages from the stars. As a result of the interest in astrology, various texts on the subject were written and translated, and many of them are still unedited. Before concluding, I will examine three astrological guides: Ms. Laud Or. 282 and Ms. Laud Or. 31 0, both from the Bodleian Library, in Oxford, and El libro conplido en los iudizios de las estrellas, by Abenragel. The systematization of knowledge here opens new perspectives of research for Philology, Historical Linguistics and History, among other fields.
