Resumen de El turismo de interior y el patrimonio territorial en Castilla-La Mancha

Desde los años noventa estamos viviendo en España la última etapa del turismo que tiene su desarrollo y expansión en lo que se ha conocido como los turismos de interior. Dentro de esta modalidad destacan el turismo rural y las distintas fases que se han desarrollado de la mano de los programas LEADER. Castilla-La Mancha ha visto en esta actividad una fuente importante de riqueza y de empleo, dejando de ser lugar de paso para convertirse en destino turístico. La reciente bibliografía nos permite hacer un balance de su situación general, así como profundizar en el patrimonio territorial.

Since the nineties, Spain has been experiencing the latest stage of a type of tourism that has developed and expanded through what has been known as inland tourism. Within this category, rural tourism and its different phases that have developed under the LEADER programmes particularly stand out. Castilla-La Mancha has experienced a significant generation of wealth and employment throughout this development, going from being a stopover region to a tourist destination. Recent publications allow us to take stock of the general situation as well as to delve deeper into patrimonial heritage
