Resumen de Ansiedad competitiva, percepción de éxito y lesiones: un estudio en futbolistas

El objetivo del presente trabajo es analizar las relaciones entre el nivel de ansiedad rasgo, la percepción de éxito y las lesiones en jugadores jóvenes de fútbol. La muestra está formada por 72 futbolistas jóvenes. Se les administró un cuestionario de auto-informe que recogía información de las lesiones. Para la evaluación de la percepción de éxito se administró el Cuestionario de Percepción de Éxito (POSQ) y para la ansiedad rasgo se utilizó el Test de Ansiedad Rasgo en el Deporte (SCAT). Los resultados indican que la ansiedad rasgo manifiesta una relación significativa con el número de lesiones y con las lesiones producidas durante los partidos. Se aprecia una relación negativa entre la ansiedad y la percepción de éxito. No se pudo confirmar el papel de la percepción de éxito, como modulador del efecto de la ansiedad rasgo sobre las lesiones.

The aim of the present work is to analyze the relations between the level of trait anxiety, success perception and injuries in young football players. The sample is composed by 72 young football players. All the football players were administered an auto-report questionnaire that was gathering information of the injuries. For the evaluation of success perception, the Questionnaire of Success Perception (POSQ) was administered and for trait anxiety, the Test of Trait anxiety in sport (SCAT) was used. Results indicate that anxiety reveals a significant relation to the number of injuries and to injuries produced during the matches. A negative relation is noticed between anxiety and success perception. It was impossible to confirm the role of the success perception, to modulate the effect of the anxiety trait on injuries.
