n this work we present AMS results obtained from several profiles in the Lutetian, carbonate-slope sequence located in the eastern limb of the Boltaña anticline. The AMS analyses allow us todefine the deformational events related to the formation of the Boltaña anticline and its progressiverotation during Eocene (Late Lutetian) times, acting as a passive marker of the deformation, after a veryearly record of LPS during diagenesis.
