Phytoécologie et composés secondaires d'un peuplement végétal steppique: cas de Pseudocytisus integrifolius (Salisb.) Rehder dans le Chott El-Gharbi (Oranie-Algérie)

    Nous avons entrepris une approche bioclimatique après avoir effectué une présentation générale du milieu physique du Chott El-Gharbi (Situation géographique, géomorphologie, géologie). Celle-ci nous confirme l'aridité du milieu marquée par une longue période de sécheresse qui s'étale sur toute l'année. Cet écosystème aride se caractérise par la présence très localisée d'une espèce arbustive Pseudocytisus integrifolius. Espèce endémique elle colonise de vastes étendues autour de l'agglomération d'El-Kasdir. De texture limono-sableuse avec une salinité élevée (2.42 mS/cm), les sols de cette région sont pauvres en matière organique (0.45%). L'étude de la végétation des peuplements à Pseudocytisus integrifolius nous a montré l'importance et la dominance des espèces xérophiles et halophiles accompagnées par une majorité de thérophytes. L'analyse des relevés floristiques fait ressortir un taux élevé de Chamaephytes qui arrivent en tête avec 78%. Le caractère halophile est bien confirmé chez ce taxon. Les familles constituant ces populations à Pseudocytisus integrifolius sont représentées essentiellement par les Poacées, les Crucifères, les Asteracées et les Chenopodiacées. L'intervention de l'homme et de son troupeau semblent influencer considérablement les types morphologiques de ce cortège floristique (ligneux, vivaces et annuelles).

    After having carried out a general presentation of the physic environment of Chott El-Gharbi (geographic situation, geomorphology, geology) we have undertook a bioclimatic approach. This one confirms to us the aridity of the environment marked by a long period of dryness which is spreading out over all the year. This arid ecosystem is characterized by the presence very localised of a shrubby species Pseudocytisus integrifolius. This endemic species colonizes vast expanses around the agglomeration of El-Kasdir. Chott El-Gharbi of muddy-sand spreader texture, a high salinity (2.42 mS/ cm) the grounds of this region are poor in organic matter (0.45%). The study of the vegetation of the Pseudocytisus integrifolius settelementses' showed to us the importance and the predominance of xerophilous and halophilous species accompanied by a majority of therophytes. The analyze of the floristic statements facts of arising a high rate of chamaephytes which arrive in first position with 78%. The halophylous character is well confirmed in this taxon. The families which constitute these populations of Pseudocytisus integrifolius are represented by the poaceae, the cruciferes, the asteraceae and the chenopodiaceae. The intervention of man and his flocks seems to influence considerably the morphological types of this floristic procession (lignous, long-lived and annual).
