Resumen de Psychological intervention in an addictive disorder from the radical behaviorist paradigm

• The psychological approach followed by a Drug Addict Public Assistance Center, belonging to the Antidrug Agency of the Health Regional Ministry of the County of Madrid, to treat a subject with cocaine addiction and alcohol abuse, is presented. The treatment, based on the radical behavioral paradigm, is an exception rather than a common approach in the drug addict field. The case presented in this paper intends to show the usefulness of third generation behavior treatments when dealing with this population.
