  • In research on the role of reflexes in ankle sprains, most attention has traditionally gone toward perturbed standing and toward spindle afferents from the peroneal muscles. It is argued that other paradigms are needed that are more closely related to sports. In addition, the role of other afferents (e.g., from skin) and other muscles (from upper leg) should be considered
