Relación entre Apego e Inteligencia Emocional en Adolescentes

    Las relaciones afectivas de apego marcan la manera de confiar en nosotros mismos y en los que nos rodean. En la adolescencia estos vínculos de apego se transforman ya que no sólo se centran en la familia sino que se extienden al grupo de iguales. El objetivo de este trabajo es detectar las posibles relaciones entre los distintos tipos de apego y la inteligencia emocional en una muestra de adolescentes. La muestra la conforman 140 estudiantes del Instituto de Educación Secundaria (I.E.S.) Ágora, en Cáceres, pertenecientes a los cursos de primero, segundo, tercero y cuarto de la Educación Secundaria Obligatoria (E.S.O.), del curso académico 2007-08. Empleamos el cuestionario TMMS-24 para medir la Inteligencia Emocional Percibida (IEP) y una adaptación al castellano del cuestionario Adolescent Relationship Scales Questionnaire (RSQ) (Bartholomew y Horowitz, 1991) para medir el tipo de apego. Los resultados confirman la relación entre el apego seguro y el hecho de que le cueste mucho separarse de sus padres. Así mismo, se verifica la correlación entre apego seguro y los factores de �claridad� y �reparación�; la correlación entre apego preocupado y �atención� y apego rechazante y �reparación�.

    Attachment relationships decide the way we trust in ourselves and in those around us. In the adolescence, these Attachment links become transformed because not only do they focus on the family but they extend to the peer group. The aim of this work is to detect the possible relations between the different types of attachment and the emotional intelligence in a sample of teenagers. The sample consisted of 140 students in the Secondary School Education Ágora, in Caceres, belonging to the courses of the the first, the the second, third and quarter year of the Compulsory Secondary Education, of the academic course 2007-08.

    We use the questionnaire TMMS-24 to measure the Emotional Perceived Intelligence (IEP) and a Spanish adaptation of the questionnaire Adolescent Relationship Scales Questionnaire (RSQ) (Bartholomew and Horowitz, 1991) to measure the type of Attachment. The results confirm the relation between the sure attachment and the factor that it is difficult to him to separate very much of his parents. Likewise, the results confirm the correlation between sure attachment and the factors of "clarity" y "repair"; the correlation between worried attachment and "attention" and rejecting attachment and "repair".
