    Este trabajo intenta ubicar las contribuciones incluidas en el dossier en el marco de los estudios que abordan específicamente la historia de la justicia rioplatense así como en la contribución que éstos comportan para comprender los cambios institucionales y sociales de la primera mitad del siglo XIX en el área.

    This paper considers the contributions included in the dossier Justicias, Jueces y Culturas Jurídicas in the frame of the studies on history of the justice of the River Plate region as well as in the contribution that these propose to understand the institutional and social changes of the first half of the 19th century in the area.
