Presenta una revisión bibliográfi ca de documentos sobre la educación rural venezolana y difi cultades de aprendizaje (Modalidad de Educación Especial). Los documentos básicos considerados:
Proyecto Renovemos la Escuela Básica, Rural, Indígena y de Frontera;
Conceptualización y Política de Educación Especial; Conceptualización y Política del Modelo de Atención Educativa Integral del Niño con Difi cultades de Aprendizaje, refi eren fundamentos teóricos y elementos operacionales de cada una, destacando el interés para maestros de Educación Rural y de Difi cultades de Aprendizaje. Se destaca la función integral para la atención del niño en cada una de ellas y la importancia de la diversidad presente en todos los ámbitos de la educación, a través del reconocimiento de las condiciones y características individuales de los estudiantes

Present review on the rural venezuelan education and diffi culties of learning (Modality of Special Education). The basic documents consulted are: the project Let�s renew the Basic, Rural, Indigenous School and of Border the Conceptualization and Politics of Special Education;
the Conceptualization and Politics of the Model of Educational Integral Attention of the Child with Diffi culties of Learning; contains the theoretical foundations and the operational elements of each one, being outlined, that, nowadays, this study is of interest for the inserted teachers in the Rural Education as for those in the area of attention of the Diffi culties of Learning. And the importance of the diversity which must be present in all the areas of the education across the recognition of the conditions and individual characteristics of the students.
