Resumen de Aproximación a la poesía de Juan Ramón Barat: una poética de la existencia

Emilia Morote Peñalver

  • This article offers a brief analysis of the contemporary poet J. R. Barat¿s poetry. Along his six commented books, not only does the poet shows his deepest human worries in a serene and, sometimes, ironic and self-critical reflection, but also manages to turn the creative process into something more than a mere verbal activity. We emphasize some constants in his poetry: firstly, the man¿s unhappiness due to the unavoidable mortal destiny; secondly, the poet¿s vitality, optimism and hope deposited in the poetry, synonymous of beauty, and in his personal vocation for living; and, eventually, the clear and elegant expression.
