En este artículo presentamos los resultados obtenidos durante los trabajos arqueológicos realizados en el la calle José Román 21 y 23, de Algeciras (Cádiz). Esta intervención presenta tres fases principales, de las que dos son medievales, una de los siglos XIII y XIV, y otra del siglo XI.
Uno de los elementos que hemos podido constatar es cómo la topografía y el agua se convierten en los elementos que organizan el espacio urbano, afectando al tipo de técnicas constructivas y a la organización del espacio.
In this article we presented the results obtained during the archaeological works made in the Jose Roman 21 and 23 street, in Algeciras (Cádiz). This intervention presents three principal phases, of which two are medievales, one of the 13th and 14th century, and other one of the 11th century.
One of the item that we have been able to state is like (as) the topography and the water become the elements that organize the urban space, affecting the type of constructive techniques and the organization of the space.
