Situación actual de los técnicos deportivos en la comunidad valenciana

    Estudios a lo largo de los últimos años tratan de explicar la situación actual de los recursos humanos de la actividad física y del deporte, convirtiéndose los técnicos deportivos y la reciente implantación dentro del sistema educativo de las enseñanzas deportivas de régimen especial, en uno de los aspectos de mayor interés social y deportivo para nuestra Comunidad. Mediante una metodología cuantitativa de corte descriptivo y mediante el empleo de la entrevista estandarizada como instrumento de recogida de información se reproducen aquellas características más relevantes encontradas en la Comunidad Valenciana. Los resultados explican que la mayoría de personas que desarrollan funciones de actividad física y deporte con una titulación oficial son esencialmente monitores y entrenadores (técnicos deportivos) que realizan funciones de entrenamiento y docencia físico-deportiva, así como de tareas de organización y coordinación.

    También, la investigación describe un gran número de formaciones deportivas que no poseen carecer oficial, lo que debe ser tenido en cuenta por las diversas entidades relacionadas con la actividad física y el deporte a la hora de establecer medidas educativas y formativas que procuren profesionales realmente cualificados y respondan a las necesidades del sector.

    Several studies over the past few years trying to explain the current situation of the human resources of physical activity and sport, becoming sports technicians and the recent implementation within the educational system of teaching sports special scheme, one of aspects of social and sporting interest to our Region. Methodology consists of quantitative research using a descriptive method and a cross sectional study that was made in summer and winter time. Interviews were performed orally and individually standardized through a questionnaire to 600 sport professionals working for institutions and sport centers throughout the region of Valencia. The results explain that most people who develop features of physical activity and sport with formal qualifications are essentially coaches and trainers (sports technicians) to perform functions of training and teaching, as well as organizational and coordination tasks.

    Also, the research describes a large number of sports that do not have formations lack official, which should be taken into account by the various entities related to physical activity and sport to establish educational and training professionals who seek to truly qualified and responsive to the needs of the industry.
