El propósito de este artículo del famoso filológo Meyer-Lübke era determinar la relación entre el ibérico y el vasco. Él estudia la toponimia antigua y moderna identificando sufijos. A pesar de sus errores este trabajo ha tenido una gran importancia en los autores que han tratado sobre toponimia prerromana de la Península Ibérica.

The purpose of this entry of the famous philologist Meyer-Lübke was to determine the relation between basque and iberic. He studies the ancient and modern toponimy identificating suffixes. Despite its mistakes this work has have a great importance in the authors who have speaked about the preroman toponimy of the Iberic Peninsula.
