El artículo muestra la estrecha relación que existe entre turismo e inmigración, expone cómo en las principales regiones turísticas de España el sector del turismo es un nicho de posibilidades para la mano de obra inmigrante que encuentra trabajo en el sector de los servicios turísticos, en la construcción, vinculada a la residencia permanente o no de muchos jubilados de Europa, y en menor medida en la agricultura. Esta combinación se muestra en regiones como Murcia, las Islas Canarias, la Comunidad Valenciana y Andalucía, que se caracterizan por tener un destacado crecimiento en el sector de la construcción, vinculado a la segunda residencia, una agricultura demandante de mano de obra y un sector turístico muy relevante.

The article shows the close relation that exists between tourism and immigration. It exposes how in the main tourist regions of Spain the sector of the tourism is a resource for immigrant manpower which can find the job in the sector of the tourist services, in the construction, tied to the permanent residence or not of many pensioners of Europe, and, to a lesser, extent in agriculture. This combination happens in regions like Murcia, the Canary Islands, Valencia and Andalusia, that are characterized to have an outstanding growth in the sector of construction, tied to second residence, an agriculture that has need of manpower and to a very excellent tourist sector.
