  Conseguir una litografía sobre aluminio plena de matices exige al artista dominar el proceso desde el dibujo hasta la estampación, pasando por el procesado. Dibujar sobre planchas anodizadas de grano fino (220) presenta una serie de implicaciones físicas y químicas que abarcan desde la composición de los lápices, barras y tintas, hasta las variaciones sutiles en la sensibilización de la imagen y su impresión posterior. El presente artículo analiza única y exclusivamente el apartado del dibujo, considerando el instrumental por categorías y marcas, tanto en su adición como en su sustracción y siempre en relación al soporte. Materiales sólidos, soluciones acuosas, grasas o cuyo componente sea el alcohol y las distintas formas de borrar la plancha, antes y después del acidulado, son los principales apartados que encontrará quien practique el apasionante arte de la litografía sobre metal

  «Lithographic Drawing Material Applied to Aluminium Plates». Achieving a finely detailed lithograph on aluminium means that the artist must master the process from drawing to printing, including processing. Drawing on fine grain (220) anodized aluminium has a set of physical and chemical implications from the composition of the pencils, bars and inks to the subtle variations in the exposure of the image and its subsequent printing. This article solely analyses the drawing stage, looking at the materials by category and make, in their addition as well as subtraction, and always in relation to the support. Solid materials; aqueous, oily or alcohol solutions; different ways of clearing the plate, before and after applying the acid are the main sections to be found by those practicing the fascinating art of lithography on metal
