La literatura al servicio del estado: algunas consideraciones sobre la utilización propagandística de la literatura en la unión soviética de los años 20 y 30

    Este artículo se centra en el cambio en el panorama literario ruso acontecido con la llegada de la Revolución y las demandas por parte del nuevo estado soviético de una literatura compatible con el discurso general de la �sociedad nueva� y que logre la necesaria transformación ideológica entre la población. Se basa en dos aspectos más representativos de la presión a la que estaba sometida la literatura soviética en los años 20 y 30: por un lado la prohibición y la censura de los textos considerados nocivos por parte de la cúpula del Partido Comunista y la represión física de los escritores, y por otro lado la formulación de la doctrina del realismo socialista, un mecanismo para una total unificación de la literatura, tanto en su aspecto formal como ideológico.

    Abstract: This article is focused on the change in the russian literature point of view that took place within the arrival of the Revolution and the request of the new soviet state for a new kind of literature that would be compatible with the speech of the �new society� and that would achieve the necessary ideoligical transformations among the population. I based this article on two very representative aspects of how the soviet literature was submit under pressure during the 20s and 30s: on one hand the censorship and the banning of texts that were considered damaging by the Comunist Party leadership and physical repression of writers, and on the other hand the increasing doctrine of the social realism beeing the motor to stimulate the total unification in the literature in both of its aspects, formal and ideological.
