Los estudiantes: su percepción sobre lo que implica "ser estudiantes" y "hacer universidad"

    En este artículo se presentan algunos de los resultados obtenidos en la investigación sobre “Las actitudes de los estudiantes hacia la Universidad como indicador de calidad”. Concretamente se trata de hacer explícitas las percepciones de los estudiantes sobre su papel dentro del contexto universitario, así como de reflexionar sobre cuál es el papel de la Institución universitaria en la formación, mantenimiento o cambio de dichas percepciones, desde la perspectiva de la información que traslada a los estudiantes al respecto. Los datos obtenidos a partir de las voces de los propios estudiantes, ponen de manifiesto una forma determinada de integración en el contexto universitario, una manera particular de afrontar el aprendizaje en dicho contexto y, en general, un modo de entender qué implica ser estudiante y qué implica estar en la Universidad

    In this article we present some of the results of the investigation which supports the Doctoral Thesis “The attitude of students towards university as an indicator of quality”, made and defended by the University of Santiago de Compostela. To be exact the aim is to clarify the notion of students about their role in the university context, as well as to consider the role of the university institution about the building up, keeping or changing such perceptions, from the point of view of the information which leads the students to it. The information got from the students themselves shows a certain way of integration in a university context, a particular way to face the training in such context and, in general, a way of understanding what being a student and belonging to university means.
