Resumen de Thaumetopea Herculeana Rambur, 1840 (Lepidoptera: Theumetopoeidae) nueva especie para la fauna de Canarias

• The species Thaumetopoea herculeana Ranbur, 1840 is reported from the island of Fuer teven tura . This represent the first record of the family Tahumetopoei dae for the canarian moths (Lep. Hethero cera) fauna. A brief discussion on its different subespecies and distribution is made.
