Hipoterapia

    La hipoterapia (terapia asistida por caballos) es un programa de Fisioterapia que emplea los movimientos del caballo como parte del tratamiento. En esta terapia, el jinete controla el caballo, por lo que el paciente no necesita saber montar; únicamente se asienta, se acomoda sobre el caballo y responde con reacciones automáticas a los movimientos tridimensionales de éste al andar.

    Los beneficios que se obtienen no sólo se limitan al plano físico (mejora de la circulación, tono muscular, equilibrio), sino también a nivel psicológico y social, lo que hace que se puedan beneficiar de este tipo de terapia múltiples patologías (parálisis cerebral, síndrome de Down ... ).

    The hypotherapy (assisted therapy by horses) is a program of physical therapy that uses the movements of the horse like a par! of the treatment. In this therapy !he horseman (rider) doesn't try to control the horse so the patient doesn't needs control the horse. The palien! seats in the horse, and adapts with automatic reactions to the threedimensional movements of the horse when walks. The benefits they gel are not only in the physical plane (better circulation, tone and balance), but also in the psychological and sociallevel, that means that multiple pathologies can benefit of these effects.
