  • This ARI looks at the criticism of, and solutions to, Europe�s economic governance that have been raised during recent years and offers a brief reflection on the slight improvements introduced in the Lisbon Treaty (2007), that remains to be ratified. It concludes with some reflections on the lessons that could be learnt from the current financial crisis and makes some proposals on the way forward.
