¿Facultad de educación y de Formación del Profesorado o Escuelas Universitarias de Magisterio?: reflexiones para una planificación coherente

    El artículo defiende la necesidad de impartir la formación del profesorado en Facultades de Educación. Donde estas facultades no existieran, deberían crearse. Se parte de una protesta por la amenaza ministerial de convertir a las actuales Escuelas Universitarias de Magisterio poco más que en institutos de segunda enseñanza, rebajando su categoría de universitarias, al conformarse con una plantilla de profesores sin licenciatura. Se describen las características del aprendizaje profesional, siguiendo las sugerencias del profesor Schon y se derivan consecuencias relativas a la naturaleza de la institución formadora, a la categoría de su profesorado, a las enseñanzas o titulaciones, a la duración de los estudios y, finalmente se propone un Prácticum cuyas fases, objetivos, módulos, créditos, procedimientos y etapas o cursos se insinúan en esquema.

    The article defends the necessity of imparting teacher training through of Faculties of Education. Where those faculties do not exist, they might to be created. Initiated as a protest against the ministerial threat of converting the present University Schools of teacher training into little more than institutes of secondary, higher education, reducing their status as belonging to the University, forcing them to become a mere group establishment of teachers without degrees. The characteristics of professional learning are described, following the suggestions of professor Schon; and, consequences, relative to the nature of the educational institute, are derived, along with the status of its teaching staff, their training and qualifications, and the duration of their studies. Finally, a Study is proposed, whose phases, objectives, modules, credits, procedures and stages, or directions are implied within the form of a scheme
