"Ami et Amile" e "La Historia delos nobles caualleros Oliueros de Castilla y Artud d'Algarve": unha análise comparativa

    Después de la metamorfosis que sufrió la configuración literaria y la perspectiva teórica de la amistad entre los siglos XII y XIII, a través de una relectura eminentemente feudal, este vínculo fue tomando rasgos nuevos y característicos. Es el caso del presente libro de caballerías, publicado por primera vez en Burgos en 1499, donde se exalta la importancia de la amistad entre caballeros mediante sacrificios que suponen una entrega mutua total. No es gratuito que ya Menéndez Pelayo encontrara puntos en común entre este texto y la leyenda de Ami y Amile, uno de los principales modelos de amistad desinteresada entre dos caballeros feudales. Desde esta perspectiva, contrastaremos los rasgos fundamentales de la relación existente entre Oliveros y Artus con esta nueva percepción de la amistad y analizaremos la importancia de este vinculo como elemento dinamizador de la obra.

    After the metamorphosis experienced by the literary configuration and the theoretical perspective of friendship between the XII and the XIII centuries, through a mainly feudal rereading, this bond took on new and distinctive features. This is the case of the present book of chivalry, first published in Burgos in 1499, which praises the importance of fnendship between knights by means of sacrifices that imply a total and mutual devotion. It is not mere coincidence that Menéndez Pelayo found a common ground between this text and the legend of Ami and Amile, one of the main models of selfless friendship between two feudal knights. From this point of view, we will compare the essential features of the relationship between Oliveros and Artus with this new perception of friendship, and we will analyse the importance of this bond as the dynarnizing element of the work.
