Los eventos deportivos son cada vez más famosos en el mundo actual. Todo el mundo habla de ellos y, sin embargo, una gran parte de la población desconoce por completo lo que se mueve detrás de ellos, cómo se organizan, qué planificación requieren y, en definitiva, cuáles son los aspectos que los distinguen de otras muchas actividades multitudinarias de ámbitos distintos al deportivo. En este artículo se intentará determinar cuáles son sus características para poder ofrecer una definición de los mismos.

Sport events are more and more famous everyday. Everybody talk about them and, however, most of the population do not know what is behind them, how they are organized, which is the right planning for them and which are those aspects that make them different from other crowded activities in areas different from sports. In this article we will try to determine which are their characteristics in order to offer a definition of sport events.
