    L�article es proposa analitzar una de les qüestions que més vincula la producció poètica de Salvat amb el futurisme: la presència de les màquines i dels artefactes mecànics com a equivalent simbòlic del món modern i d�un conjunt de valors que defineixen les aspiracions i l�ideal de l�home nou. L�anàlisi es va desenvolupant des d�una perspectiva comparatista amb l�objectiu de posar en evidència les afinitats amb els poetes italians que van constituir el primer nucli del futurisme, com ara Folgore, Palazzeschi o Govoni, afinitats detectables tant en els aspectes més prototípics del moviment com també en aquells que presenten una relació més complexa i problemàtica amb la ideologia i l�estètica futurista.

    The aim of this article is to analyse one of the questions that links Salvat�s poetic output most closely to futurism: the inclusion of machinery and mechanical devices symbolizing the modern world, and a set of values and ideals that define the aspirations and ideals of the new man. The analysis is carried out from a comparativist viewpoint with the purpose of revealing the affinities with Italian poets, such as Folgore, Palazzeschi or Govoni, with whom futurism first began. Similarities may be detected in the most prototypical aspects of the movement, but also in those that show a more complex, problematic relationship with the ideology and aesthetics of futurism.
