Resumen de Opiniones de los escolares ante los emigrantes marroquíes en la zona de Talayuela (Caceres)

El estudio investiga las opiniones de los jóvenes de Talayuela con relación a los inmigrantes (1.485 encuestas), analizando su nivel de acepta- ción o rechazo a los mismos. Los datos obtenidos se contrastan con datos nacionales aportados por otros investigadores a través de los cuales podemos ver las similitudes y diferencias entre ambas zonas de estudio.
Como similitudes nos encontramos que los jóvenes de la zona de Talayuela tienen sus prejuicios más patentes hacia el colectivo de los gitanos seguidos de los «moros». Pero se diferencian de la media nacional en su mayor nivel de aceptación de los inmigrantes y en un alejamiento de posturas claramente racistas. De cualquier forma hay que estar atentos a todos aquellos factores que hoy por hoy mantienen el equilibrio en la convivencia.

This research looks into the youngs’ opinion in Talayuela in relation to the immigrants (1.485 surveys), analysing their level of acceptance or rejection towards them. The obtained data are contrasted with the data other researchers have got at national level. From these, we can see the similarities and differences between both areas of investigation.
As result we found that the young in the area of Talayuela are mainly biased against the Gypsies, followed by the Moors. However, they differ from the national average opinion in the fact that they have a higher level of acceptance towards the immigrants in general, and their attitude is clearly non-racist. In any case, we have to pay attention to all those factors that at the present time keep a well-balanced coexistence
