Amb aquest article, l'autora no pretén fer una anàlisi exhaustiva de l'obra de Plató, sinó que vol interpel·lar el lector en qüestions tan actuals com són: el mal, la justícia i la injustícia, les conseqüències dels nostres actes i la responsabilitat de l'home per tal que la societat funcioni bé. Així, "L'anell de Giges" serveix per mostrar la feblesa de l'home en qualsevol època en què el crim s'estableix com la millor manera de triomfar sempre que el delicte comès no sembli tal i que el criminal pugui sortir-se'n impune.

The author does not intend to make an exhaustive analysis of Plato's work. She just wants to address the reader in such up-todate questions as: evil, justice and injustice, the consequences of our acts and the man's responsibility in the right running of his society. So, «Giges' ring» shows us the weakness of the man in every period of the history in which crime is established as the best way of success in life. It is always «the best way» if people can't guess evil, that is, if the criminal action disappears and the villain can be considered as an honest man.
