In this article we raise the philosophical question about teaching in a time when it is not clear that teaching could still have any particular human value. May be we could find other possibilities at a different level, such as a precise software, but is there a human quality for teaching we could think about? This would be the key issue for a philosophy of transmission: its task would be to define the impossible dimension of teaching in an alternative sense, opened to a distinctive truth of human experience.
