És sabut d'Eugeni d'Ors (1881-1954) que el gener de l'any 1906 va encetar en el Glosari, des de les pàgines de La Veu de Catalunya, la seva heliomàquia o combat per les llums. Al llarg de la seva vida, va bastir un pensament figuratiu, l'arquitectònica del qual ofereix els trets següents: al nord, la filosofia; a l'est, la política; al sud, la crítica de l'art i l'estètica; i a l'oest, la narrativa. En conjunt, es tracta d'un pensament que, tot i la seva dispersió, ofereix una clara vocació sistemàtica.

It is known of Eugeni d'Ors (1881-1054) that in January of year 1906 began with the Glossari, from the pages of La Veu de Catalunya, the Heliomaquia,his fight for the enlightenment.
Along of his life he built a figurative thought, architectonic of which offers the following features: to the North,the Philosophy;
to the East, the Politics; to the South, the Art Criticism and the Aesthetics; and to the West, the Narrative. Altogether, this is a dealt of one thought however some disperse it bid a clear systematic vocation.
