The crop of the table grape is affected, mainly, by the action of four species of birds: Turdus merula, Passer domesticus, Passer montanus and Carduelis chloris. In the summer of the 2004 we made a directed study to find a system to diminish the impact that these birds cause to the crop of the grape of table without incurring to aggressive methods or of extermination. The chosen method was the one of translocation of the birds responsible for the attacks to grape grains, that is to say, to capture them and to transfer them to a certain distance and to observe the rate of retum of the translocated birds. With the collected data it is possible to be affirmed that the method of translocation is effective to diminish of observable form the presence of the species responsible for these attacks. AIso we observed the abundant biological diversity of the birds that are related to the culture of the grape. This provides another reason for the use of non selective methods of extermination to diminish the presence of pernicious birds in the vines.
