    En los últimos años, los actos terroristas se han hecho más presentes en nuestro día a día, llevando a cabo acciones fundadas en el miedo y la impotencia a las víctimas, que serían sus objetivos indirectos.

    Bajo una supuesta fundamentación política o ideológica, justifican la utilización de cualquier medio para revindicar sus objetivos. Sin embargo, sus actos, lejos de alcanzar sus propósitos, suelen constituir ataques contra las víctimas, con importantes repercusiones emocionales. Diferentes estudios realizados en afectados por actos terroristas señalan la presencia en las víctimas de trastornos de grave repercusión clínica entre los que cabe destacar el trastorno por estrés postraumático.

    In the last few years, terrorist acts have become more frequent in our daily lives; actions based on the fear and impotence of the victims who are their indirect targets are carried out.

    Terrorists justify with supposed political or ideological foundations the use of any means to achieve their goals. However, their acts, far from attaining their goals, consist of attacks against their victims, with important emotional consequences for these victims. Various studies carried out with victims of terrorist acts reveal the presence of disorders with severe clinical consequences, among which we emphasize the posttraumatic stress disorder.
