    El CRDI (Centro de Recerca i Difusió de la Imatge) se creó con el objetivo de archivar, conocer, proteger, fomentar, ofrecer y divulgar el patrimonio documental en imagen de la ciudad de Girona. Su creación responde a una demanda del público y la obligación de conservar estos fondos para que puedan perdurar el mayor tiempo posible en las mejores condiciones. Bajo estos principios, el CRDI colabora con CCG Ediciones, y publican a partir del año 2000 una colección denominada Biblioteca de la Imagen, formada por siete volúmenes, en los que se pueden apreciar distintos aspectos de la Historia de la Fotografía en España.

    «The CRDI (Centre de Recerca i Difusió de la Imatge). The Library of The Image». The CRDI (Centro de Recerca i Difusió de la Imatge) was created to file, study, protect and spread the heritage of images of Girona. This archive was created because it was necessary to protect this heritage in good conditions and as long as possible. Since 2000 the CRDI have collaborated with CCG Editions and they together have published a work, whose name is Biblioteca de la Imagen. It is composed by seven volumes that offer differents aspects of the History of Photography in Spain.
