This research paper is an analysis of the factors influencing the damage theories in school headship. Its major aim is, basically, to confirm the so-called «School headship damage theories». To this end, we examine the experiences and points of view of several people who currently hold, or have at some time held, posts involving the kind of responsibilities proper to School Heads.
