En el presente artículo, se reflexionará en torno a los conceptos de viaje y viajeros. De modo concreto, se analizarán algunas memorias de éstos durante las visitas efectuadas en el transcurso del siglo XIX a nuestro país, en especial la de Mary Graham, planteando finalmente, que éstas permiten para la historiografía conocer una rica documentación radiográfica sobre la visión del otro y la génesis de la identidad nacional.
In this article, some reflections about the concepts of travel and travelers will be examined. In fact, memories of these, during visits made during the XIX century to our country will be further analyzed, with special regard to Mary Graham's visit. Finally, concluding that these memories allow historiography to acknowledge rich radiographic documentation about other's vision and the genesis of the national identity.
