Resumen de La desigualdad social: desarrollo y desafíos del Trabajo Social desde la reconceptualización en América Latina

  El tema del Congreso al interior del cual se inscribió este trabajo, refi ere a la desigualdad social. Este tema es medular en la profesión y su aprehensión ha sido asumida desde diversos enfoques. La ruptura que marcó el Movimiento de la Reconceptualización fue de significativo valor y, por ello, es fundamental recuperar el origen de esta infl exión y las repercusiones actuales en la investigación y la intervención profesional. Situamos el aporte de este trabajo en el eje de trabajo defi nido como: "El contexto contradictorio de crecimiento y desigualdad como escenario de la intervención del trabajo social en el siglo XXI." La perspectiva que damos a este trabajo sitúa las rupturas del Trabajo Social latinoamericano desde la génesis y desarrollo del Movimiento de Reconceptualización. Durante cuatro décadas de existencia, se han colocado en eventos latinoamericanos, regionales y nacionales, importantes asuntos en debate que hoy configuran la particularidad del Trabajo Social latinoamericano. Para los colegas de América Latina, los asuntos tratados pueden ser harto conocidos, pero aún así hacer la sinopsis puede resultar una contribución para mirar en el largo tiempo los caminos recorridos y entender la profesión como resultante histórica y sus actuales desafíos. Para los colegas del resto del mundo el texto permite reconocer los principales rasgos de un Trabajo Social latinoamericano inscripto en una perspectiva crítica de las relaciones sociales de la sociedad capitalista, que configuran las diversas expresiones de la desigualdad social y que a su vez, son parte constitutiva de esta profesión. Participamos de los presupuestos de una de las tendencias del Trabajo Social que opta por comprometerse con los derechos humanos y la profundización de la democracia.

  A Congress's theme, in that this work has a base, it refers to the social inequality. This theme is fundamental for the profession and his understanding has been treated from various focuses. The rupture that I dial, the Re-Conceptualization Movement was of a signifi cant value and for this reason it is fundamental to recover the origin of this infl ection and the present-day repercussions in investigation and the professional intervention. The contribution of this work is located in an axle of defi nite work: "The contradictory context of growth and inequality like scene of the intervention of the social work in the century XXI." The perspective that we developed in this work, you place the ruptures of the Social Work in Latin America from her genesis and development of Re-Conceptualization Movement. They have shown up in Latin American events during four decades of existence, regional and nationals, important subjects in debate that today they confi gure the particularity of the Social Work in Latin America. The treated themes can be knowledge to his for the Latin America social workers, but just the same, presenting the synopsis, it can prove to be a contribution to watch the development in the time and understanding retrospectively the profession like historic resultant and his present challenges. It allows recognizing the principal features of a Social Latin American job based in a critical perspective of the social connections of the capitalist society for the social workers of the rest of the world, the text of this work, that they confi gure the various expressions of the social inequality and than also, they are constitutive part of this profession.
