Resumen de O ensino de Ciências na 5ª série através da experimentação

  The age of information in which we live demands reflection on the contents taught and on the strategies employed in the classroom. The motivation and the development of the scientific education are necessary as they help the pupil to better follow the evolution of science, the transformations which occur in the nature and in the history of mankind. The teaching of science should stimulate the scientific reasoning and it should not be only informative. This work describes a methodology of science teaching, applied in classes of the fifth grade of the fundamental education, in the years of 2005 and 2006. The experimentation, the work group and the cooperative learning among pupils are focus on the development and discussion of this methodology. The results prove the efficiency of this methodology, which shows the development of essential pre-requisites on the formation of the scientific education of the student. The praxis in the classroom should be discussed aiming at the application of the scientific education in the schools.

  A era da informação na qual vivemos exige reflexão sobre os conteúdos ensinados e sobre as estratégias empregadas na sala de aula. O estímulo e o desenvolvimento da Educação Científica se fazem necessários por possibilitarem ao aluno melhor acompanhamento da evolução da Ciência, das transformações que ocorrem na natureza e da história do homem. O ensino de Ciências deve despertar o raciocínio científico e não ser apenas informativo. Este trabalho descreve uma metodologia de ensino de Ciências, aplicada em turmas de 5ª série do Ensino Fundamental, nos anos de 2005 e 2006. A experimentação, o trabalho em grupo e a aprendizagem entre os alunos são focos de desenvolvimento e discussão desta metodologia. Os resultados comprovam a eficiência da metodologia e demonstram desenvolver pré-requisitos essenciais na formação da Educação Científica do estudante.
