Resumen de La persistencia del mito y de lo imaginario en la cultura contemporánea

Este trabajo pretende mostrar la trascendencia filosófica y las diferentes expresiones sociológicas que adopta lo imaginario en la cultura contemporánea. Primero, comienza con el examen de la naturaleza antropológica profunda de lo imaginario, revelando la persistencia de un componente imaginario, propiamente no-racional, devaluado y soterrado por el racionalismo dominante a lo largo de la cultura occidental. Luego, partiendo de la conflictiva relación existente entre modernidad e imaginario, revela las dos manifestaciones fundamentales de lo imaginario en la época moderna: el progreso cientifico-técnológico y el campo de las identidades socio-políticas. Finalmente, descubre cómo lo imaginario sigue incluso operando en diferentes espacios cotidianos propios de la cultura de masas

This work tries to show to the philosophical importance and the different sociological expressions that it adopts the imaginary thing in the contemporary culture. First, it begins with the examination of deep the anthropological nature of the imaginary thing, revealing the persistence of an imaginary, properly notrational component, devaluated and buried by the dominant rationalism throughout the western culture. Soon, starting off of the conflicting existing relation between imaginary modernity and, it reveals the two fundamental manifestations of the imaginary thing at the modern time: the scientific progress and the field of the partner-political... (Ver más) identities. Finally, it discovers how the imaginary thing even follows operating in different own daily spaces from the culture of masses.
