    Lucía Sánchez Saornil (1895-1970) no fue la única mujer allegada al Ultraísmo, ya que militaron en sus filas varias pintoras, pero sí fue la única poeta ultraísta. Su producción poética puede dividirse en varias épocas, las más importantes siendo las sucesivas fases modernista, ultraísta y política. En este artículo se estudian detenidamente sus textos ultraístas desde varios ángulos, intrínsecamente y también dentro del contexto de los escritos ultraístas de sus compañeros masculinos en la primera promoción de la vanguardia histórica española.

    Lucía Sánchez Saornil (1895-1970) was not the only woman associated with the Ultra movement, as several women painters were involved in its activities, but she was the only female Ultra poet. Her poetic output can be divided into several epochs, the most important of these being the successive modernista, Ultra and political phases. In this article her texts from the Ultra period are studied in detail from several angles, both intrinsically and also within the context of the Ultra writings of her male companions in the first wave of the Spanish historical avant-garde.
