Resumen de Las primeras réplicas de los profetas Abacuc y Daniel en el auto Mística y real Babilonia de Calderón: Prefiguración de dos trayectorias complementarias
Las primeras réplicas de los dos personajes de profetas, Abacuc y Daniel, que aparecen en el auto Mística y real Babilonia funcionan como la prefiguración de dos trayectorias complementarias que sirven el propósito catequístico común de celebración de la redención eucarística. Esta complementariedad funciona primero a un nivel formal, traduciendo las dos voces que dialogan en el mismo libro bíblico de Abacuc, y dando cuenta del designio divino que preside a la deportación de los hebreos a Babilonia. A un nivel teológico, el contraste que ofrecen las aprensiones opuestas de la deportación no impide una complementariedad de acciones: si Daniel elucida el valor alegórico de la tribulación en esperas de una redención mesiánica, es Abacuc quien permite la realización del proceso eucarístico de esta redención = The first replies of the two prophet characters, Abacuc y Daniel, who appear in the auto Mistica y real Babilonia function as the prefiguration of two complementary directions in the drama that serve a common catechistic purpose: the celebration of eucharistic redemption. On a theological level, the contrast between opposing visions of the deportation does not impede a complementariry of actions: if Daniel correctly elucidates the allegorical value of the tribulation, in preparation for a messianic redemption, it is Abacuc who allows the realization of the eucharistic process of this redemption
