Resumen de Retrospectiva histórica: una explicación de las Matemáticas desde el pasado

  ¿Cómo enseñó geometría Platón a Aristóteles? ¿Pueden nuestros antepasados ayudarnos en la tarea de hacer pensar a los alumnos actuales? No sabemos responder a estas preguntas, pero la experiencia desarrollada en el CES Don BOSCO de Madrid, con alumnos de magisterio y en el colegio Salesiano San Juan Bautista de Madrid, nos indica que sí. En el siguiente artículo, exponemos algunos ejemplos y recursos del aula, haciendo una reflexión sobre las importantes posibilidades que esta metodología tiene para nosotros.

  How did Plato teach geometry to Aristotle? Can our ancestrors help us in our task of making our students think? We cannot answer these questions, but the experience carried out in the Higher Studies Centre Don Bosco of Madrid with students from this college and also from San Juan Bautista school of Madrid demonstrate it is actually possible. In the following article we show up some samples and resources for the class and at the same time we think over the great possibilities that this methodology offers to us.
