    Muchos epígrafes referentes a divinidades indígenas en Extremadura son de interpretación dudosa, o bien no ofrecen el nombre de la divinidad, sino su epíteto. Una selección de la información que tenga en cuenta estos hechos nos acerca a lo que fue el panteón religioso indígena de la región. En este sentido, se observan importantes similitudes entre la zona norte del río Tajo y la Beira Baixa portuguesa. Hacia el sur de Extremadura aparece un conjunto de teónimos diferente, con fuerte presencia de divinidades femeninas

    Many inscriptions regarding the indigenous deities of Extremadura are of an uncertain interpretation, not offering the name of the god but its epithet. A selection of the information that takes into account these facts bring us nearer to the religious pantheon native to the region. From this, the important similarities between the area north of the River Tajo and the Portuguese Beira Baixa can be observed. From the south of Extremadura there appears a collection of different deities names with a strong presence of Goddesses.
