Upper Miocene deposits of Conills Island (Balearic Islands) consist of red matrix breccla and oolitic grainstones. They are placed unconlormably on top of mesozoic rack and they are interpreted as a lan-delta sequence similar to that on the adjacent island of Cabrera. Conills Island deposits complete the Upper Miocene sequences of the south and southeast of Majorca and increase the knowledge of the geology of the Cabrera archipelago.
