Los fondos de escultura romana que conservan el Museo Arqueológico Provincial de Sevilla, procedente de Itálica, han permitido llevar a cabo este trabajo que se centra sobre el estudio del trépano en las obras de este periodo histórico. Analizadas más de setenta piezas —desde la época Imperial a la Tetrarquía—, ha sido posible identificar diferentes tipos de trépano y reconstruir alguno de los sistemas y etapas de trabajo

The Roman sculpture collection from Italica, held by the Provincial Archaeological Museum in Seville, has made it possible to carry out this work which focuses on the study of the drill bit in building work during this historic period. With more than seventy pieces analysed (spanning the Imperial to the Tetrarchic period), it has been possible to identify different types of drill bits and reconstruct some of the systems and work phases.
