    El artículo realiza en primer lugar una reflexión histórica sobre la significación pedagógica del escultismo. A continuación los autores ofrecen un breve recorrido de esta asociación juvenil en España, y en esta región, desde su llegada en 1912 hasta el final del franquismo. El núcleo del estudio se centra en un detallado análisis de los procesos de socialización y educación en el tiempo libre de los jóvenes asociados a este movimiento durante los apasionantes años setenta, hasta el inicio en 1983 de las políticas de juventud del PSOE.

    At first this paper propose a historic reflection about the pedagogic meaning of the world scouting movement. To be continued the authors show a short sight about this young people movement in Spain, and in Castilla and Leon, from their beginning in 1912 to 1970. Finally, and over all, the study focus on a detailed analysis of the youth's socialisation and education proceses in the leisure from the exciting Spanish seventies years to the 1983, when the youth's policies of the Spanish Labour Socialist Party are beginning.
