The molluscs of muddy seabeds at a depth of 700 meters are the object of the study. The material has been obtained from the study of muddy sediment surveys and fishery remains provided by trawlers fishing from ColI de Mallorca (SW of Mallorca). They also provided data concerning the depth and geographical zone covered. The range of filter-feeding organisms of the genus Yoldiella and a wurmian thanatocoenosis is quite remarkable. These are characterized by the presence of Seguenzia monocingulata and Torellia ves tita. An impressive group of seabed molluscs is al so cited for the first time.
