Resumen de Presència de "Planorbella duryi" (Weatherby, 1879) (Mollusca; Gastropoda; Planorbidae) a les Illes Balears

  Planorbella duryi is an authocthonous Planorbid snail (Seminole Rams-horn) from the Florida peninsula (north America), and it has been found sorne times in Mallorca. Nevertheless, Planorbella has never been reported in the Balearic Islands. The aim of this paper is to assemble all the locations for this species in Mallorca and to warn about the risk that this species and other invader ones can supose for the native fauna and flora of the Balearic Islands.

  Planorbella duryi és un Planorbid autocton de la península de Florida (America del Nord) que s'ha trobat en diverses ocasions a I'illa de Mallorca. No obstant, l'especie no havia estat mai citada per a les Balears. Aquesta és una especie invasiva que es veu afavorida per la dispersió involuntaria per part d'empreses que venen pIantes aquatiques i els jardins botanics.
