The climate change situation has worsened in recent decades, and this has negatively affected certain economic activities, particularly agriculture. Crops have been impacted by heatwaves, exposure to high light intensity, and changes in precipitation patterns, leading to reduced productivity. Therefore, the need to develop strategies capable of mitigating the effects of these adverse environmental changes on crops has been increasing. The main objective of this thesis is to evaluate the application of different strategies to alleviate the effects of environmental changes on citrus cultivation. To achieve this goal, plants have been treated with different strategies under adverse conditions. Additionally, their effect on the plants physiological, hormonal, and molecular responses has been studied to induce tolerance to these adverse environmental conditions.
