  • Resumen
    • HH 80N is the north counterpart of the HH 80/81/80N system, the largest collimated stellar jet known up to date, located at 1.7 kpc in Sagittarius. Ahead of HH 80N, there is a dense core (HH 80N core) that exhibits peculiar chemistry and kinematics, and has star formation signatures. In this thesis we focus our study on the possible influence of the HH 80/81/80N jet on the HH 80N core. First, we find that the UV radiation of HH 80N can alter the chemistry in the part of the core more exposed to the HH object. Second, despite a possible dynamical influence of the jet to the HH 80N core, the collapse process of the HH 80N core can be explained in the "classic" frame of star formation. Finally, we discuss the role of the outflow inducing the star formation observed in this core.
